The ICEBERG of CONTENT CREATION
By Drawza
Tip #1 - Do NOT look at others to compare yourself to
Very simple but applying the rule of the ICEBERG it should be clear why not to do so. You do not know how much work someone has done to get to where they are, what equipment they have at their disposal or the amount of help from others they have... SO comparing yourself to others in the content creation realm is dangerous because unless you have someone in the exact same circumstances as you then you will never have a fair comparison.
Tip #2 - PREPARATION!
Following on with the iceberg theory, preparation is key, whether it is with the setup of a stream, or planning a video, the more prepared you are the better. Have you ever entered someone's stream and they have an amazing setup, overlays and all the things to keep you entertained? It would not have happened with someone planning it to...
Tip #3 - Keep aware of your MENTAL HEALTH
Nothing will keep you floating if you can't keep yourself afloat. Keep yourself as a priority in content creation, be aware of burnout and be aware that not everything will go the way you want it to. Plan for what you CAN CONTROL.
REMEMBER the ICEBERG
So, my best advice is to remember that content creation is about what people do not see, the stuff that makes the content what it is.
