Detective Pikachu Returns part 1 EARLY GAME

With the approach to go in blind I was immediately transported into the land of Pokemon, in particular Ryme City.

The one thing that had me worried was how easy the plot would be to pick up, as I had started the 3DS game but had never completed it.

These worries were soon put to bed, as the game eases you into knowing the plot and the mechanics.

The look of the game is simple yet nostalgic for this Pokemon lover and the first few chapters allowed for those with skill levels like mine to feel like it is more about the story than the challenge.

I will add with this I am a fan of story games like these because it puts the focus on the narrative and allows for it to flow rather than having challenges that are too difficult for the casual gamer.

So, act one done and Detective Pikachu is enjoyable and relaxing, I am invested and can not wait to solve the next mystery.
